Our office offers research services to assist attorneys preparing briefs, closing arguments, or other written or oral argumentation.  We are also available to conduct country conditions research for asylum, cancellation of removal, and waiver applications.

Brief Writing

Our office has extensive experience writing both trial and appellate briefs covering a wide range of immigration topics, including the immigration consequences of criminal convictions, defining particular social groups for asylum applications, and briefs supporting motions to reopen and motions to suppress.

Padilla Advisory Opinions

We have developed an expertise in the intersection of criminal and immigration law, and are available to write advisory opinions for criminal defense attorneys pursuant to Padilla v. Kentucky regarding the potential immigration consequences of convictions.

Sometimes two heads are better than one.  Our office is available to review your immigration cases, analyze challenges to the grounds of removability, identify available relief, and brainstorm the evidence needed to get your client's application approved.  A well-planned litigation strategy can make all the difference!
